The objective was to build more than just a portfolio website. The goal was to engineer a complete digital ecosystem: a high-conversion lead-capture platform seamlessly integrated with a bespoke internal CRM and an automated email system.
The entire architecture had to be powered by a cutting-edge serverless framework, guaranteeing global performance, infinite scalability, and a radically low maintenance cost—just $5 per month.
Most software consultancies rely on a patchwork of third-party tools—expensive CRMs, clunky marketing automation services—to manage their sales funnel. This approach is costly, slow, and creates data silos.
The challenge was to prove that a unified, superior solution could be built in-house; one that is both powerful and financially efficient, serving as the ultimate business card for the Schumacher Labs philosophy.
I architected a full-stack serverless solution where every component was strategically chosen to eliminate intermediaries and maximize performance.
The frontend, built with pure Vanilla JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, delivers a premium, lightning-fast user experience, free from the bloat of unnecessary frameworks. It is served globally by the Cloudflare Pages CDN, ensuring minimal load times anywhere in the world.
The heart of the operation is the backend, running on Cloudflare Workers. This serverless API acts as the system's brain, processing strategic form data, managing the CRM logic, and communicating with other services.
For data persistence, I chose Supabase as a Backend as a Service, leveraging its PostgreSQL database to store leads, conversations, and interactions. Security is enforced with Row Level Security (RLS), exposing only what is necessary and protecting all sensitive data.
Transactional emails and automations are handled by the Resend API, ensuring high deliverability and professionalism.
The result is a clean, resilient, and absurdly scalable architecture.
